I only hate Farragut for one reason....the classless PA guy in 2004. Butchered "Gulmire" Gilmer, Gomer, Gullman.....It wasn't like no one had ever heard of the guy. Butchered many others like he was drunk. Mulholland became Mull-I-hand. Leonard was leee-nard. and others.And it continued all night. It never happened again. Too late

 

I'm sure there is a thread buried in Coach T about it.

 

Nole I'm Gald you remember that too.  Me and dad bring that up and get a good laugh about it everytime we go over there.  That guy had to be drunk, Gilmore, Gomer, Gullmar, Gilmire etc. etc., or he was just tired of losing to Spencer and was having a little fun with it.  But yeah, that was bizarre.

OK, I just checked the forecast and it says 90% chance of thunderstorms Friday and Friday night and 100% chance of rain Saturday. Now I understand.

Me either. I have never liked Farragut, even when we were dominating them. Something about that team I have never liked, and I'm sure they feel the same haha

I was sent a poem this morning from a faithful Wildcat follower and thought I would share.

 

 

The first round of the playoffs brings Trojans of Soddy Daisy,

 

the word from the woods is that they're a little crazy.

 

They go on-and-on about the Men of Troy

 

Makes one doubt if they even have a homeboy

 

They claim they play the best “big boy football†in Tennessee

 

and they called Wildcats “wussies†(but with a P)

 

the Trojans say they have “bigger wildcats to tameâ€

 

But when they get to Oak Ridge they will meet a team that’s inflamed

 

They think the contest is on social media

 

By the end of the game they will know they had the wrong arena
