Gov91.....I understand that Shad added extra work to the kids donning bits of red attire at a recent practice. Does he not understand, or see what was happening? Simply put these warriors were morphing into Cardinals as the power was being instilled into them. Shad's refusal to accept this truth of WB's real identity is disturbing and I am afraid very damaging to WB. Initially, I was predicting a 5 plu win season for WB, but after this incident I see 3 as the most and potentially a 0-11 season. The Cardinal lives.....it is real, and until someone is able to open the Shad eyes to this creature of greatness the curse will continue.

Is Seymour 3A or 4A? I'm looking forward to the OR scrimmage. I want to see Myrick, Hannah and King light up a bigger school.

Not so fast, let's see if the line can provide against good teams. That scrimmage will be a good test for the Govs. Edited by Governors91

Seymour is 4a. WB is larger than OR so you will not see them light up a bigger school.....

Sorry, I misspoke . I meant larger than 4A not Larger than WB.  WB tore up Loudon a while back in a scrimmage. I want them to get at least a couple of 5A scrimmages under their belt before the season starts. I know a former coach would build up their confidence against smaller schools and the 2nd and 3rd string at practice and his starters were unprepared for Schools there own size when the lights came on Friday nights.

If WB can't dominate a 4A school not named Fulton, they are in trouble this season. They should handle  Seymour without much difficulty or its going to be rough.

Totally understand. Both loudon and Seymour would not be a test to see were WB stands because both schools are avg. 4a teams. OR is a different story and will let you know more

    • We could sure use some math teachers country wide. Ever go into a store or restaurant and the bill comes to $9.97 and you give them a ten dollar bill and 2 pennies because you wanted a nickle back and then the meltdown starts and the next thing two more people have to come and help figure it out and the place comes to a complete halt. I see this everyday and it's a sad representation of all these schools allowing these kids out the door to get shortchanged the rest of their life.
    • I like the Pirates chances. I’ll be there as soon as work allows.
    • Stars, I heard we were searching far and wide for some math teachers. Any chance their kids bench press or 40 times are getting checked? LOL I’ve heard good things from 825.
    • I think it was expected. “Bad” luck I guess to get a couple difference maker QBs in the same class. I thought the decision was made a little early myself, but they were struggling offensively last year.  I assume the running quarterback alco had last year would be a senior this fall, and the transfer would start the following two years in addition to getting a ton of playing time this year. Maybe he waits two yrs, but I doubt it. The kid is good. So is the one who stayed.
    • I'm from Cloudland and we've never played a sectional game.  We need to win tomorrow night to avoid that bus ride.  Us and north greene can play with you guys so I'm expecting good games whoever the matchup is.
