I really appreciate all those who have shown up to support WC and I'm sure NCS appreciates their new fans also who's teams are out of the playoffs but it's hard to know which posters are actually from WC and NCS and who ain't. I'm by no means bashing them as I would be doing the same thing, hate to see what we all love so much come to an end but after Friday night there will be four more teams posters from this side of the state supporting other teams. We need to be enjoying every minute of it while it last and praise these young men and coaches who have worked so hard to just keep giving us all one more week!

Could we get away with starting another thread just for WC and NCS posters or would that just be ignored?

Just like no knowledgable fan would anticipate NCS's domination of Huntingdon. Just like no knowledgable fan would anticipate NCS shutting out Wayne County last year. Certainly no one anticipated 6-19 for 106 and 2 picks along with 21 rushes for 35 yards from a key position in lasts year game. But it all happened.

People say what they say and think what they think. Sometimes they are wrong but they may just be right. That's what this place is for.

At least get your stats correct on here.

Rice was 6/17 106yds

And rushing...

#5 had 17 carries for 42 yds

As a team we had 187 offensive yds..

106 pass yds on 6 completions

81 rush yds on 33 carries

We was 3/12 on 3rd down while NCS was 4/10

At the same time NCS did not move the ball any better and if not for the INTs it would have been ALOT closer than 21-0. The Wildcats got inside the 10 of NCS once and crossed the 35 several times. NOT saying we would have won minus the two INTs but just saying.

Here is what NCS offense put up against our Defense..

254 yards

26 pass yds on 4-8 passing 0-0 TD-INT

228 rush yds on 33 carries 3TDs

We was missing 60% of our Oline in that game also but will have all of our guys this week. We are about as healthy as a team can be this late in a season after 12 games and playing football for the last 5-6 months.

Not predicting out of lunacy. Predicting after watching 4 Wayne County's games this year against some of their toughest opponents and watching last year's shut out. What they do well is what we guard against the best. What we do well they have not seen anything like it and film doesn't do it justice. Our team is so focused this year I just honestly don't see WC scoring. Their best chance to score is in the second half against the JV in the fourth quarter. I also predict a whole lot of Wayne County fans whining about private schools. So my prediction stands at 42-0 unless somebody pisses me off and I go tell DBituli how y'all are on this chat room talking about his mama. The only thing more incredible than a focused Bituli is an angry Bituli.

Your an idiot plain and simple! I have praised DB after reading his story about moving to TN from the Congo and how he really started to pick up the game of Fball in 7th-8th grade! But to say y'all will win 42-0 and we wont score until your JV is in.... Go home Rookie because the film you been watching(or you SAY you have been watching) needs to be checked.

Our team is ALSO focused this yr! That 12-0 record proves that! Look make all the predictions you want but dont come on here with that 42-0 Bull crap! And yes we have seen what yall do... we played yall last summer and last November. We know exactly what to expect and we have the best coach or at least one of the top 3 best HCs in 1A football in Rickey Rice who will gameplan and make sure we fight hard and I promise you if you and ur team think that yall are going to just blow out this Wayne County team then your going to get a RUDE awakening! Rookie!

How many Seniors did Wayne County lose last year?

Like 89 said we lost 11 SRs.

A breakdown of some of the positions and starters we lost...

We lost 4 of 5 starting O Linemen and our 4 starting D lineman (All these guys played both lines).

Other than that though we didnt lose hardly any skill pos. guys.... Other than those lineman we lost these 3 others who started...

1 OLB

1 DB

1 WR

We had a couple others who rotated in and out alot but as far as starting that was it.

This season we have 13 SRs(7 who start) & 56 on the overall roster. FWIW

    • Good ole Bradley Zulliger. He was a really good QB @ OR. Fun to watch.  Wore #15 and was like a mini Tebow, with the exception of being right handed. He could take a pounding and keep on ticking. Played with a collapsed lung against Powell that year. Tough as nails.
    • They should be pretty good in year two for Rang.  Replacing most of the offensive production losing Dozier, Hayward and Rembert , but they're are skill kids in place ready for their shot.  I know I say this every year, but the o line should show improvement after two years in Rang and Kevin Day's weight program.  I still would favor West over Plow and OR come November.  The Rebs will have to grow up a bunch between now and then, and will probably take some lumps along the way with that schedule.  But I predict come playoff time they will be ready.   One of their coaches half joked to me that they could go 5-5 regular season and win the state championship.  Ha ha.
    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
