I'm going to say:

Knox Catholic 55%

Pearl Cohn 45%

I admit I expected east to get here, so I give credit to pc. But I'm still going to disrespect them and say they don't have enough to be that private school lol

For you to be a middle tn guy you love going against the grain but it's ok. Pc vs everybody Edited by FBfan26

If PC plays an entire game like they played the 1st quarter tonight, they will be a tough out for anybody. Haven't seen Catholic so I can't speak about them, but they better have some boys who can run because I know Parker, Vaughn, and Groves can fly.

Catholic will be fine when it comes to athletes. Rodgers (USC commit), Wood, kuerschen just to name a few off the top of my head. How Is PCS line? That's were Catholic has been dominating teams by controlling the line of scrimmage and getting pressure on the qb all game.

We have athletes with D1 offers also "usc, geogia,UT,New Mexico state "etc. O line is big a physical. It will be hard to get to #1 with the line and how fast he gets the ball out of his hands. D line is a nice size and fast. We have Faced Big O and D lines all year with Hillsboro,Lipscomb,MBA,Muscle Shoals,Memphis East,CPA so it shouldn't be a problem. From what I'm hearing it should be a good game. So good luck to you guys Edited by FBfan26

Yea we know Catholic will be tough. Thanks for your congrats.

I spent the last two weeks saying I though PC would get to Cookeville and you Lou Holtz me lol. Congratulations on beating Memphis East. Looking forward to a great match up. My son plays for Catholic so I'll be cheering on the Irish but from what I've seen, you guys are good! Real good. Edited by QSouth89

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
