Does this job appeal to anyone?  Who goes after this job or do they hire an assistant to step up?

I believe they should call David Martin at Stewart's Creek. All he has done there is to take a new school in the hardest district in TN and won 6 games in his 3rd year. I believe he still lives in the area so it would be closer for him, also he could give GP a little payback. Thoughts?

DC John Elmore has faithfully paid his dues at GHS. He would be a good choice if he wants the job. LOTS of young coaching talent in the County. But I would expect GHS to go after a seasoned coach and I have nothing to base that on

That's a long way to Murfreesboro each day, not sure he would have any interest, would be a good get for greenbrier.

No doubt about it. KW has done a fantastic job at Greenbrier and I know they hate to see him go. He made them relevant.

 

This is a huge hire for them whether they realize it or not. Only takes one bad one to set you back several years

They may gain more talent next year after the rezoning for middle and high school students goes into effect. The talent to at least compete for the 3 and 4 seed should always be there.

Probably not. The way it is drawn up Springfield is losing some kids to GB. Glad you enjoy Boyce Smith, but we will hopefully have a new field on campus at the high school in about 2-3 years. Wish we could pick up Boyce Smith Field and drop it behind the high school but that is wishful thinking. The future Jackets can make the new field historic in their own way over the years.
