rebels
Exactly. The only question is why is Maryville the only top program in the nation that never goes out of state?we actually have academics at Maryville. It is a money issue. And big question I'd Why do they have to? To prove it to you ?

rebels
I do know all the other top programs in the country go out of state to play other top programs from other states. Most Florida schools stay home. Most California teams stay home. Most Texas schools stay at home. No need to travel it's HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL!!

MidTennFootball
Call me crazy, but I thought the goal was to win a state championship, not see if you can get on espn
rebelwoman87
Call me crazy, but I thought the goal was to win a state championship, not see if you can get on espnThat's how I feel. But I guess winning 16 gold balls doesn't prove anything or earn respect to some people. Or do they just want to find something to complain about... rebels
By your reasoning Maryville beat Warren county 35 to 7 by 28 Oakland beat warren county 48 to 7 by 41, Maryville beat William Blount Oct 16th 42 to 0 by 42 Oakland beat William Blount Nov 6th 49 to 7 by 42 points. And as I was told on here you can not use common opponents and scores to rank teams. Example as I posted in a post earlier Riverdale beat Smyrna 49 to 3 at Smyrna two weeks before the playoffs started in 2006 and Smyrna beat Riverdale at Riverdale in the playoffs on it's way to Smyrna's first of two State Championships back to back. Yes Maryville is a GREAT TEAM and every team in the state dreams of having a program like Maryville's. Great team, Great coaches and Great FANS and until somebody is able to compete with Maryville year in and year out, Maryville will always be the big dogs and every team is looking to beat. So far it has been proven that nobody can compete with them year in and year out. My hat goes off to Maryville it is not easy to be as dominate year after year as they have. Any team with that reco. Thisrd would be proud, and should be. We just have to believe we will beat them someday! If we don't believe we will never win.. This will be a very tough game for both teams. rebels
How many SEC commits does maryville have. How many Rutherford a County teams have a former player starting for the # 1 team in the country? Clemson's starting center Jay Guillermo is a former Maryville starter. PLEASE!!!! THE SQUAD
The Oakland D will be the best defense Maryville has faced all year. Scoring will be a challenge. Question for all the Rutherford County folks.... where in the heck do you get these monster lineman that virtually every school in your county have an abundance of? Rutherford County population 300,000 for one...
TOM4000Patriots
Always nice to see players from our state continue to play football in college. I would rather they stay in state but I understand when someone go out of state. All have their own reasons.
