BarneySox2007
What do you Rebel fans think the starting lineup will be? Rebelron they should be okay far as the first team goes. The depth will be the big question mark to me. The senior class is pretty good and the junior class is great but the sophomores class didn't have a great year in 2015 as freshmen. It will take a lot of coaching up to improve there. My biggest concern is the loss of Brock and you see how we played in the state championship game without him.He was half the offense last year. I look for Endsley to play that position this year and I also look for Markham to be very exciting to watch and should come into his own this year. The offensive line is almost a total rebuild but Mr. Ellis hasn't ever proven me wrong yet. The team is down far as number of players than the normal 90-95 players and may be around 75 this year for some reason.

REBELRON
Here is my guess on starting lineup. QB. Dylan Hopkins RB. Jordan Ervin,Isiah Cobb and Michael Hall WR. Christian Markham,Noah Humphreys ? on 3rd wideout. OL. Jacob Wall is only starter back. I believe Isaac Keller, Dalton Chase and Mason Gann will be other starters. Don't know who other guy could be. TE. Blake Watson Offensively I expect Maryville to keep on rolling. Dylan Hopkins is a stud QB. He will only get better. RB's are very solid. Maryville will always have good OLine as long as Ellis coaches them. Watson is a lot like Former Rebel Bryce Miller. Markham and Humphreys are both very quick and sure handed. DE. Matt Young and Treuan Purty. DT. Blake Olivera and Jack Williams. LB. TD Blackmon,Daniel Blair and Tommy Smith. CB. Jack Bristol Ramadan Gibril S. Gage Hearn ? Front 4 will be real good. Matt Young is a 4 year starter. Purty played great also. Olivera and Williams played real solid. TD Blackmon is a great player. Wouldn't trade him for any LB in the state. Secondary will get better as season progresses. Matthew Cone will be back as kicker. He did a good job.
Vafans
All speculation at this point.I think at least two or maybe even three freshman will start or at the least see quite a bit of play time. Let me interject a couple things: Lucas Blair (not Daniel) and Olivera could possibly be playing some OL. Will Orren at safety as well as Hearn. Josh Rouse is in the mix at safety as well. strongx
I hear a kid named Hough (rhymes with tough) has impressed. I saw Humphreys a week or two ago-he has grown up. I thought #42 might break into the lineup-seemed to be around the ball a lot last year.Think new coaches are feeling the pressure...yet? strongx
Check that on #42. Evidently, he found something more entertaining to do. Did have a nose for the ball. Next man up.
