OLDSCHOOL44
They did successfully recruit Austin Lowe to coalfield today he withdrew from oakdale today and enrolled at coalfield. His mom was given an aid job that was never posted on job board and they obtained them a house in coalfield. He lived out of district in Harriman and was attending oakdale. Will he be able to play without a hardship waver? Ted McKinney did a great job of recruiting he gave Austin a summer job and paid to take him to multiple camps with Parker this summer.since ted is a Assistant coach With the middle school and they are all under the same roof this could be bad for coalfield if it could be proven that's the hard part I do know ted has always Recruited kids to Go too Coalfield
bluedevil6913
They better have a good line this year! they have a few BIG lineman that were super young last year and maybe a few more this year coming up that they expect to compete. RudyWasOffsides
Any public school will take every kid they can get their hands on but they don't have near the access to kids as the privates. Private schools are nearly all transfers, most come in at the Jr High level. Huge difference at small rural school's and privates. Us public school people don't care how many transfers the privates get,we just want them competing with other privates who operate just like them.Recruiting is recruiting regardless of the tools available. There can't be a double standard. It's either ok across the board or its not. Once the privates are in a division of their own, you people aren't going to have the same opinion on small rural schools getting transfers when you're losing to them every year. I agree with 99% of what you say Pujo but this is that rare 1%. Doesn't mean that I don't respect your opinion either.
TheMan2015
I guess coach Henry decided to open up the recruiting budget to compete with GB and Harriman.

Were fine Rudy and if ANYONE public or private are breaking the rules.it needs to be addressed. If whats been said on here are the facts, this one needs to be investigated to the max. pujo
I guess coach Henry decided to open up the recruiting budget to compete with GB and Harriman. Coalfield has pretty much always been the football power in Morgan Co. They've always been able to get a few from the local schools.
Polarsloth
I guess coach Henry decided to open up the recruiting budget to compete with GB and Harriman.no kidding, I mean gb or sp gets transfers in every year. Gb's has been getting them from Alcoa, loudon, Catholic and out of state for the last few years as well as sp and everybody thinks it's great. Cf gets one and it's the worst thing in the world. Polarsloth
What’s funny to me is all these people that bash the private schools for recruiting buts it’s all fine when a public school is doing the same thingi thought you wartburg people would be happy he transferred. You might have a chance to win one this year.

RudyWasOffsides
how many transfers has Harriman gotten this year Rudy?I've heard that Harriman got Jermaine Copelands 2 sons and his nephew. The son that will be a sophomore apparently rushed for 700 yards or so last year at Morristown West while backing up their stud RB that signed with Wake Forest. Looks like they replenished the holes at the skill positions but idk about their line.
