This thread seems like a good football board lol.

Just hope Hampton can pull out the win.

Clay Co good basketball team but not a great team. Just a good team with one great player

It takes more than one good player to finish with the record CC has. Sounds like they left a bitter taste in your mouth.

Key had some games he didnt play well and Clay Co won This team is not just all Key. They are very talented and a very good team. Just like everyone I have and opinion, but I would say that all the teams left are pretty good or they would not be in the final eight still playing.

Agree!

Yes clay has good team but if key doesn't play good they will lose. They can get by playing weaker teams when he has an off game but not at the state. Hampton will be more athletic than clay. It will take huge game from him to win.

Clay is well coached and will be ready for Hampton.  Key won't have a bad game because he can get to the rim and he can finish it will a dunk.  He plays above the rim, most kids are rebounding around it he's over it and he is so quick to the basket its hard to defend him.  Its hard to shoot in the glass house but its not hard to dunk it.  Should be a great game though either way.  Hampton has a quality program and they always seem to have athletes.  We shall see how it turns out.

As for the game against Marion County, maybe it wasn't pretty i know MC hit a lot of crazy shots, banking in 3's etc.. so sometimes that happens.

Its better to win ugly than lose looking good  :popcorneater:

No bitter taste in my mouth. We just got best by a better team.

Mc did hit some crazy shots but can only recall one banked 3 point shot. Curry even banks a,3 every now and then.

Uc sports fan I still waiting on that blow out you predicted.

Heck u predicted Pickett girls would win an van Buren would get blown out. I don't think you have been close on any game yet.

I never said clay Co wasn't good. Just said they had one really great player and the rest good players.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
