Farragut is tops again in District 4AAA going into post season. Can they finish strong?  Who is going to stop them?

Not as impressed with Farragut as in previous years. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Every year that I say that about fairgut, they end up winning it. They play with unrivaled confidence in ET. Confidence is THE key for baseball-IMO. Plus, this is an even numbered year. Doesn't that mean something?

Farragut traveled to middle TN to face off against Mt. Juliet.  Terrific facility.  Good fan attendance.  Admirals took care of business winning 6-0.  Mt. Juliet seemed a little out of sync  but it is always good to face the teams that might be in the state tournament.  Strong bats and strong arms for Farragut.  The kids were ready to play.

Good points SX. They are a confident bunch. I think Buckner is the difference as his expectations for each player are high. He is a quality coach...no doubt.

Fairgut still in it?

Farragut is, indeed, still in it.  Facing Arlington in the first round.  The big news is Sevier County getting in for the first time. No HVA. No Bearden. Let's see if Farragut can get to the finals for the fourth year in a row.  They have been to State 16 of the last 17 years.  Nine in a row at this point.  Can't argue with success.

Tough opening game for Farragut. Arlington has to be one of the favorites, but at least Siegel and Summit are in the top-half of the draw. Sevier County has a very winnable game against Collierville, but a tough Siegel/Summit game would follow.

Devante Matthews throws a no hitter for SC. That young man is something else. Did he turn down any higher level programs to go to Carson-Newman? I thought he would be D-1 in football.
