Greenback football 2016

I havent been around the team since the title game but have heard we may have gotten some help in the areas needed.After talking with a close friend of mine who is VERY close to the program the news is outstanding!Picked up some lineman to fill the shoes of our graduates and we all know that was our soft spot last season as well as the year before.Got two lineman in that are of a huge nature,one has won the defensive player 2 times at Nick Sabans defensive camps.He of course is from Alabama and will be a Freshman,the other kids have put in alot of work in the weight room and i am amazed and the size they have gotten!Now can we can put it all together and get to the Semis again???Only time will tell.

That's big news for you guys. I look forward to watching you all play this year. It's lining up to be one of the best teams to come from this part of the east in a very long time.

Goodness, you boys are getting them from Alabama all the way up to Greenback. Sounds like Greenback has the east on lock this season. I was hoping we could compete this year.

If a semifinal game happened between the teams yes, it would be in SP. We are getting better down here, but have a long way to go to get close to where we were from 2007-2013

You picked up a boy that won Satan's camp? Sounds like a nice piece for you all. What about LB? Harris was a big time leader for you all. I expect one of the younger guys to step up in that role.

My understanding is a Sophomore is there as of now.He played a lot last year,good player and hard nosed he also moves better than Harris did but Harris sure could fill a gap!

It's always a big help to pick up players. Just be ready if it starts happening a lot you will be come the black sheep of the county like us, if not already...like us. Good luck hope to see you in the semis

I'm sure your coaching staff is on top of things, but #6 seemed like a good candidate to be there if not already there

Don't unleash the beast on us. We're getting better. Hope to compete if we meet up.

I hope they have had a specialist come in and teach anger management to some of the players. Don't get me wrong I love the way he plays but he needs to learn when the whistle blows stop! I look for this to be another great season for the Cherokees but they have to play as a team and not buy into all the hype about how good they are. They have a lot of special players on this team and I just don't want to see it hurt this team like it has in the past.
