Good to be back on the T! Even better that football is heating up!! The boys in blue have a lot to prove this season and there will be question marks coming into the season. The offensive line will be the big question without doubt going into the season. Solid QB play with Pace returning will be key. The backfield will surprise some folks I truly believe. With the addition of Copeland's 2 sons transferring in that should really give a boost in the backfield along side the returning lead rusher in TJ Phipps. This is a team that has the chance to win 6 or 7 ball games if they can put things together and play to their potential!! District play is going to be extremely tough but it should be a great year for football! Here's to the season and carrying on the usual conversations with you fellas!! I'd love to hear what you guys think as well!

Yea buddy!! Had a very eventful period of time in the game of life since football ended!! It's good to be back on and talking to you guys! Getting on here and talking football is one thing that I always look forward to getting to do! I have a blast conversing with you guys about the game we love!

I think you guys have a scrimmage this friday against my boys! Let me know how it goes! I did not get to watch any 7 vs 7 and will not make this scrimmage due to work! Not got to check our boys out this year yet! Good luck this season! I always keep up with Harriman and Rockwood cause i live in Rhea Co and my son plays for Monterey! He is Safety and one of the Running backs! Once again good luck to you guys this year!!!

We're having to replace our qb.and some skill slots. .but return our rb#23.and a couple of lineman.we should have decent speed..just need some experience..losing our do it all qb hurts..but everyone goes through it

He was the one who kept GB on their heels all night!Without him we win that by a couple.Thanks for the insight.I will miss the Kingston game this year but I am going to vet updates or at least I better!LOL.

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
