We're having to replace our qb.and some skill slots. .but return our rb#23.and a couple of lineman.we should have decent speed..just need some experience..losing our do it all qb hurts..but everyone goes through it

JacketsFan, I believe the game between us will really tell the both of us a lot! Both teams know they have talent and both teams are replacing some key guys at key positions. I like the fact we have this one at home, but as always it will be extremely tough to get a win against Kingston. No matter how bad or good you guys are you always come to play against Harriman! I'm really looking forward to that game though. I can't wait to see how Pace has further developed as a QB as the sky is the limit for this kid! I'm also very anxious to see the Copeland brothers on the offensive side of the ball helping out Phipps as he will probably shoulder the load as our key back. It can't get here soon enough!

Im excited about this season, I know we lost a lot of talent but look at our schedule we have four guaranteed wins with Wartburg,Sunbright, Unaka, and Jellico. Midway always plays us tough but they are down this year so I think we take that game as well. Thats five wins easy.. Oneida is down but they are always tough even if they are down.

Look for us to take the region over Coalfield this year. Go Devils!

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
