Everyone else better pack it up because it's over Edited August 26, 2016 by CommandoBlood100
thegreatone36
I don't know about everybody else packing it up, but sure would be interesting to see what the full potential could look like.
mondo44
Hville up 14-6 at the half. Coker with 2 Td passes for Hville and Smith with 2 FG for the Stars. Hville receivers have at least 6 drops and Hville had a punt return TD called back. Stars are pretty stout on the D line. See lightning in the distance so we may get delayed soon. MJGOLDENBEARS
So? Your ole glory days don't really matter compared to recent history. When I was out there it didn't happen, just a simple egotistical point.
mondo44
Agreed with Yalfan, way too many mistakes The good- Defense played well holding the Stars out of the end zone and to only 125 yards total offense. Played over 20 guys in the first half on both sides of the ball which contributed to 4th qtr performance. In addition to a typical Hughes night Carver and Schwerdt chipped with almost 100 yards. Opportunities- Need to get better in the offensive line and at receiver. Coker went 7-15 but with at least 5 drops could have been a lot more productive in the passing game and built the lead even bigger. Too many penalties with 7 for 55. Big one negated a 60 yard PR for a TD by Carver in the first half. Hats off to Siegel for how hard their players played the entire game. It was obvious Murray was not 100% and he only carried it 3 times. The DL Anderson is a stud who we could not block for most of the night. Also the Kicker Smith was very good kicking 3 FG and putting all kick offs except one in the end zone. Back to work Monday for one of the best 5-A teams in the state in Cane Ridge. Experienced, big, fast, and physical. Will have to play much better than last night to have a chance to win.
