I don't live with blinders on. The team up the road has had a great team for 3 years. I said for the previous two years we would not compete with them. This year u thought it would be a better game, but didn't think we could get them. I'm glad we did. Now run along. I'm going to get back to watching this movie "Everest" on Netflix. It's action packed like our game last night. It's based on a true story. If you guys haven't seen it then check it out.

Don't post much on here but will respond to one comment above. Jasper didn't play bad vs Boyd last year. Just like they didn't play bad vs SP last night. Jasper was outplayed both nights. It happens. It's all about the prep work. Sometimes that means prepping a year in advance.

Pirates proved a lot of doubter wrong including myself. After Sequatchie I didn't see them winning this one but Football is all about match ups and schemes. The SP coaches had a great game plan and had Marion schemed up from the start to a T on both sides of the ball. I've seen many games where this has been the case but still fall short. Gotta give credit to those players for SP, they went out and played their butts off. If Pirates play like that and keep getting better it will challenging to keep them out of Cookeville.
