What's Alcoa's record against Fulton? I think its 10-1. . Alcoa has never lost to Catholic. Alcoa is a 2A school that plays up to 3A. Alcoa plays the best 6A , year in and year out, every regular season and holds the only regular season wins any school has against Maryville since 2004.

thanks for listing the evidence!

Just facts .. fact that Alcoa dropped Fulton clearly after knowing they would hav their nest teams in years in 2013 and 2014 and pick up playing a team from mid to west TN that had just started football so they could pound them ..and dropping KC when clearly they were gonna be very good in 2015 and 2016 and picking up a Reb Bank team from Chatt who has clearly fallen on hard times ... .. evidence is there .. and as far as Maryville .. he would stop playing them if he could ... his ego is killing him over that .. Rankin is a great coach and Alcoa has clealry been better and beat the Fulton team bad and hasnt lost to KC .. those are all facts .. no argument against that .. so the evidence is there as far as 2013-2016 for 2 teams that were gonna be at their best in those years ... Rankin is smart .. he knows where all the young kids are going ... they all compete for same kids starting in 7th and 8th grade teams .. he saw what Fulton had in 2011 when Fulton freshman beat Alcoa frosh very bad 38-6 .. he knew in 2013 and 2014 they were gonna be strong so he dropped playing them .. when Fulton played Alcoa in previous years where Alcoa was clearly better and Fulton knew it ..they didnt bow out and say we dont want to play .. no big ego's .. play the better teams and good competition .. same for KC .. since Matthews has gotten there he has gotten alot of kids around Knox Co to come .. Alcoa has competed for alot of those players too and got their share ... these coaches are well versed at being able to tell which kids are gonna be studs from these 7th and 8th grade teams.

aint Marville doin the same thing

Booger just sayin :ugeek:

Naw ... I dont see it the same .... Maryville didnt have contracts already with these schools .. would Fulton rather have played Maryville in 2013 - 2014 instead of 2015-2016  .. well YEA ... cant speak for KC and Maryville .. dont know if thay have ever tried to get a series going or not .. but Fulton needed games the past 2 years and was willing to play the Rebels .. who wouldnt want to play against the best ( well Alcoa wouldnt) and play good teams .. so I dont see Maryville doing the same ....

I came across several Alcoa parents at the UT game. Funny thing....your comments came up about Alcoa being scared. One parent had a great point. Your continued rant, puts down a Community, a school, each and every player that puts on the Alcoa uniform. A small Community and Program that year in and year out that plays higher classification teams. Your whine about Rankin is still a slap against our Community. Plain and simply......your a jerk!

Alcoa has had some great teams the last 15 years. Some years Alcoa was slightly down. 2011 & 2012 where rough years. Especially 2011. Alcoa lost 5 games. But even that down year, Alcoa played Fulton. Not only did Alcoa win, but won big 28-8. 2012, Again a down year for Alcoa. They where not even #1 in region play. BUT still able to beat Fulton 30-6 on their own field. Alcoa was a much better team in 2013 and 2014. I feel very confident Alcoa like in the past (14-1) would beat Fulton. Even comparing common opponents. Alcoa was a better team.

Been meaning to post for a few days but been busy. Last thursday was my first taste of The KC v Fulton rivalry. I was impressed with Fultons skill players. 24 could perhaps be the most elusive "slippery" player I have every seen any time he touches the ball it could go for 6. Really impressed with Fultons LB core also. Difference was in the trenches. KC's O line is on another level right now pair that up with a great QB and wide outs along with a stable of running backs is going to make them tuff down the stretch. Defense will be ok. There on the field a lot since Offense strikes so fast.

    • Problem with DB football goes beyond coaching. Like Waco said. Thr band is the main focus of their community and school. They have the resources to be a championship level team. Guarantee Ballard or Witten could have them nationally relevant at some point but everyone down to peewee would have to buy in and at DB we all know that would never happen.
    • I know the RB from OR he’s fast and has good hands. Is good on special teams also. Didn’t want to play defense over to the Ridge.
    • Lieutenant Flip flops is on a roll. #1 recruiter in Anderson Co, fo-sho.
    • Has there been any effort to contact college coaches other than Trevecca?
    • 5star put out and article about the QB competition for Clinton like they have 9 other schools. They listed a QB that was previously on Powell’s roster last year. He was the Frosh that could throw great wearing number 5. He was not mentioned as a transfer.  HC was quoted in getting two running back transfers one being from OR that has been mentioned on these boards as well as another from TKA.  I had heard about these and more transfers. It is impressive that Clinton is able to steal away from the recruiter at Powell.  I wonder if the issue with the principal will change that or open the gates even more.
