The radio station in Milan that covers Peabody,Bradford,Gibson County & South Gibson is saying that the Humboldt-GC game on Tuesday has been moved to GC so renovations on the Humboldt gym can procede.

 Yes, that is correct. Humboldt will be playing at Gibson County tuesday night!

Union City has quietly gone 10-3 and 6-0 so far this season...They have a district game with Greenfield Tuesday night and a game In The Eagles Nest against Graves County, KY before heading out to North Carolina to play in a big tournament filled with elite national talent...They have already faced the #2 or #3 prospect out of the 2018 class, Zion Williamson who is a beast in a tournament in Illinois...They will be battle tested to start the new year...

UC is the only team in 14A that can compete with Humboldt. I wouldn't count out a Cisco led team in any game, but I predict at least 4 battles between UC and Humboldt this season.

Looking at 14-A yeah I think clearly UC is the only team in Humboldt's rear view. But Bradford still intrigues me for some reason.

Something many or most don't know, Union City will be adding two players back to the roster just after the Christmas break who have been on grade suspension.  They have not dressed nor practiced with the team all season.  One is a returning starter from last year who was they playmaker on the floor and can rebound with anyone.  He is a senior, will more than likely not start but will play a lot and make a difference coming in off the bench and another player, which is a junior and played a lot last year,  who came off the bench last year and can run the court well.  Once and if the chemistry jells, Union City should be a team that will give anyone a run for their money come tournament time and should go very deep into the playoffs.

Humboldt 58 Gibson County 45, GC led at Halftime 30-23 but Humboldt came out second half & turned up defense!! Humboldt might as well get use to teams trying to slow the game down but it shows they can play a half court game! Defense wins games!!!!

Yes, I hope the Vikings do have a good showing, playing a lot of big schools, plays Popular Bluff Tuesday & if they win will have winner between Kenwood & Cordova! Kenwood is out of Chicago with a 8-1 record & Cordova is 10-1 with only lost to #2 rank team in the nation, Northcross Georgia so it will be a huge challenge for the Vikings!!

Humboldt has been impressive all season but beating NS at home by 18 wasnt a surprise to me. NS is not good. Cole is solid when he's playing within the system, Robertson can shoot but thats it and Robinson can score but he hasnt been fiven the reins
