Hey again everyone. It's me again, Lightning McQueen. I have really been enjoying the past month in Radiator Springs. After dealing with a flat tire, firing several pit crews, and having some fierce battles with my bitter rival, Chick Hicks, I'm finally ready to do some laps that really count. Unfortunately, I won't be able to showcase these laps today in Radiator Springs. My engine is so hot right now that with the combined outside temperatures I'm afraid I might overheat. My good buddy, Mater, is going to be towing me north in a few hours in hopes of finding some cooler temperatures to showcase my talents under the lights at a local speedway. Captain Doc Hudson has really been working with me the past month to help me perfect some old racing moves. If you want a good seat you should get there early. Mater told me the track he is towing me to tonight is a dirt track and doesn't have asphalt because they don't have a lot of fast race cars there. I hope I can get good traction at a dirt track because I don't won't to spin the rubber off my tires. See everyone in a little while.
