I might make some of my buddies up yonder mad but I'm thinking HV wins this one!

HV will be the favorite but make no mistake,Hampton is still Hampton. They run into a stubborn Cloudland team that was prepared. HV poses lots of threats but its still gonna be hard to stop Hampton. Like I said before the team that punts 3 times will lose. I'm just glad I'll get to watch it. With be an electrifying atmosphere.

Picking a game shouldn't make anyone mad. Its just an opinion. Because I pick someone to lose don't mean I'm pulling against them. I will be taking Hampton in the big ones. HV has already made me pay for that one time. They very well may do it again.

I thought Hampton was pretty conservative with their play calling in the first half.  I don't remember seeing any counter plays in the first half.  They caught us out of position 3 times in the 2nd and made us pay the price.  When Davenport gets in open field, he is gone brother.  When Hampton decides to play ball,  they are next to impossible to stop.

Exactly KING and I didn't want to say that but we were pretty vanilla.

You can't make a judgement for another game based on the outcome of a Hampton/Cloudland game.

I know our weaknesses as well as anyone and pressure will be the key to a Friday night victory.

And I'm not looking for a brawl...HV may want one but this bunch understands the necessity of composure.

Composure and discipline belongs to the winner in this one.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
