I agree with you about Bumpus. I don't know what's on the coach's mind but I think it's something along the lines of what you said. Who knows? The smart would be to save him for the playoffs.

I hate for kid to miss games but then again I would hate for the young man to really mess his knee up by playing on it. Needless to say coach knows what's best for the team and the young man. Hopefully I'll be able to catch round two if /when it happens. Should be a good game.

Two monkeys on Dresden's back, UC & Stang's (Westview used to be one too). When we finally beat these teams it will be a very positive thing indeed. This is the year I think we'll beat whomever we face, so yes I predict an undefeated season for the Lions. Gotta do this one play at a time though. Which our guys are focused on doing. Beating UC this Friday gonna get one monkey off. Doing so convincingly will be extra icing on the cake. Will havta play flawless ball & an A+ game to pull all this off, and I believe our Lions will do this very thing. Time will tell. Hurry up & get here Friday Night Lights!

Gates usually open at 6 pm for regular home games. I suspect they'll probably open a little earlier for this one.

There'll be some other gates that'll open just before game starts. Dresden players will unlock these gates to Unleash The Beasts amidst smoke bombs and running through the spirit line as home crowd goes crazy. It's on then. And the hype & expectations about the Lions will become reality. Gonna be shock & awe time baby as Lions will roar & rule & blow out the Tornado's storm... which is just another step towards Dresden's ultimate goal. Hurry up Friday!

I'm sure they did. Coach Bowling will not risk any further injuries. Most likely freshman on the field for UC. Not trying to take anything away from the Lion's JV. Just keeping things in perspective.
