Guys, hold your horses. Dr. Satterfield is actually out of the country the first part of the week. He flew to Canada yesterday for a Educational Convention. I highly doubt serious interviews have been conducted. He may have it down to 3 or 4 or 5 but nobody knows for sure. Talking with a candidate last night, he was told by the Dr. that we would hear from him when he gets back later this week. So I'd take the over and expect something closer to Christmas. At the earliest, the first part of next week.

What kind of mess is this? Why is that Satterfield man learning how to speak Canadian? Those boys and girls need American teaching not Canadian mess. You think im joking but im not.

Roy, Us little small town country folk like to think we are on a Global Platform sometimes and we like to add a little international flavor!

But the whole trip could be a cover up too. Dr. Satt may be flying up North to get him a coach! You know people in TN dont know anything about Canadian Rules Football! That Offense would throw defenses in a whirlwind. Bacon anyone?

If that Satterfield man is up there in Canada trying to learn some new secrets to teach his knew coach that Childress mans refs will throw a penalty flag. Those Canada players have different rules. That Jones man from South Pittsburg is a coach up there and Grider cant run his plays. You think im joking but im not.

Woodmore shouldn't be now. I heard he was scared of getting ran out of his hometown if he didn't win 2 years ago when the job opened. If he is "scared" he didn't even need to apply this time, which people say he didn't apply. And if the "scared" comment is true, I'm not sure Satt would even entertain the idea of him being a head coach at TC.

Woodmore was not scared. He has helped build a strong program at the Ville and just didnt think he was improving his position by moving back to TC. My opinion at least

No one knows but coach Clint I don't think he has made a decision yet when he says he will do something by a certain date or time then it happens but people do talk and certain people know certain things your right it's not clue high it's a message board that is what happens people speculate on what they think will happen or what won't happen you don't have to click on the subject either

Yes you have stated what you think will happen, and that is all cool, but you've also continued this "down to three", or "I was told......."  BUT, you can't provide a single name, plus this, "he has to run a his offense."  All I am asking is, where do you hear that?

Just hang tight - Trust Me!

You are right in that he has help build a strong program in Adamsville. But he was scared. Just ask him. TC head coach > defensive coordinator at Adamsville and baseball coach. So he would definitely be improving his position. Listen.......Woodmore is a great great guy. I'm just stating the facts.

I'm hanging tight...trust me. I'm one of the few that thinks that it's not anyone's business who "the final three" are, or who will be the next coach before Dr. Satterfield and the next man up decide to make it public. Look back (if you'd care to know) at a previous post where I stated that if you are included in the trust, you don't break it. Not everyone has the fortitude to keep such things private, so there are some tidbits out there that have some merit...and I know that you know what I mean also. It will come out in good time.

    • No reasonable lawyer would take up this case. I am not a lawyer, but I know school law in and out.  Similar situations just like this play out thousands of times each year across the country, even at the college level (i.e. Ole Miss)  The Plaintiff's never win...ever.  If I am wrong, please provide a legal precedent for me. I will be waiting.  https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/39431892/judge-drops-ole-miss-player-lawsuit-lane-kiffin
    • Yes Justin Cruse was named head coach
    • It used to be, I think it still is, a change of 20% +/- gives reason to reclassify. Schools can choose to play up classifications but not down. Here is the mid cycle reclassification info on TSSAA.org When Memphis East changed from a regular public school to an "all-optional" school in 2017 the would've dropped to A but chose to stay in AAA in basketball (baseball, and softball) Penny was still coaching there and with the players they had they would've beaten A teams by 40 and slept walked to the championship. Other Memphis schools stayed in their classifications (mostly in basketball) until the next reclassification cycle. Of course this is the same time that a 4th class was added basketball.
