I heard that south side played them close and I was shocked that melrose beat them. That was a head scratcher for sure.

 

Our game with south side was 34-7 but it was 34-0 at half. Backups played the entire second half. So it could have been a lot worse. But Bolivar makes me nervous cause they played us tough last year. And I have a good friend who does the radio for bolivar football games. If we lose he won't let me hear the end of it lol!!!

I've seen Bolivar play, they will have serious trouble with Milan's size

on the O line. The Dawgs wear out Bolivar's D and pull away in the second

half.

I believe this is Bolivar's first home playoff game since 1988 when they made it to the quarterfinals...if memory is correct they got beat by Dickson County that year who went on to win the gold ball....none of the current Bolivar players were even born then (at least they better not have been...lol)...so the emotion of a first playoff game in over 20 years shouldn't come into play...I still say close first half....the Dawgs pull away the 2nd half with their big O line and stable of rb's....just like last week vs SGC...

I agree on melrose. However I can see the flip side and understand why you don't get it. Liberty doesn't have much of a playoff legacy.....
