Did Clinton have a lot out for baseball during spring practice this year, Maryville had a handful that were playing baseball and a very promising sophomore DE that should be a future all star was out due to an injury.

Yes. I know for a fact we had 3 linemen out for the scrimmage. I'm sure there were a few more out because of baseball and track.

Didn't know but I figured they did if we had also. Looking at your schedule and this being a rebuilding year I see five games they can win and five their just not at that point yet and you all meet those five right in a row that will be just to tough to overcome this season. The five that they can if things work out right are the ones that are left. I kind of see a 3-7 4-6 team possible. What's your thoughts.

Looking at our schedule, I agree with you....3-7 or 4-6 are very possible. I can deal with a loss if the team doesn't give up and competes until the end.

Plus I want to see a more disciplined team and I'm sure we will.

I hear Coach McKamey still thinks he is at a recruiting er I mean private school. Letting a kid that is enrolled & attending classes at Anderson County high school go through full pad spring practices with the Clinton Dragons. Maybe he doesn't remember how public schools work or just said F**k the TSSAA. Mans got some balls!!

No one got back with me and answered my question about Trevor Linderman coming in as a Freshman this year. I know he's currently in Union County, but I heard through some Maryville kids that know him that he was at the Maryville-Clinton scrimmage telling folks he was headed to the Dragons.

I haven't heard that he is.

If this is true it's inexcusable. I actually hope it's not true because if it is then stupidity is the prevailing theme at Clinton. I would prefer that Clinton get a little better so the game is at least competitive again.

    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
