Can't believe this. Around football circles all the coaches always said what a good job he does even on the down years. Real good person too I always heard

Before all heck breaks loose, just want to let you know that Coach Roland was going to leave anyway. So even if JC didn't "fire" Roland, Roland was going to leave.

He is leaving now isn't he.. if we all fired coaches on count of rumors of leaving. None of us would have a coach.

Smh. All he did was get the best out of his players.

 

Feelbad for Roland but he doesn't deserve to be around people who didn't respect him anyway..

Before all heck breaks loose, just want to let you know that Coach Roland was going to leave anyway. So even if JC didn't "fire" Roland, Roland was going to leave.

Not trying to stir up controversy, but if he was going to leave, why wasn't he given the option rather than being fired. Also, if you read the article, it looks as if he had no intentions on leaving as he said he's going to miss seeing the success of this program that they are about to see. It looks like Roland has high expectations going forward for the Jackson Christian program even with his departure.

 

If he did plan on leaving, they should've given him the option of resigning or be terminated... firing someone from their job is a life altering situation and is nothing to play around with. Just my two cents worth...
