Oakland will dominate this game and set up the dream match up everybody has been waiting for all year against Maryville. Should be a running clock in the 3rd quarter and the starters getting rested for the big semifinal game.

Maryville Rebels are light years ahead of the other 7 teams in their region. The other teams generally play very competitive games with each other.

 

Oakland should pummel Hardin Valley. If it is close I will be shocked.

The same can be said for Region 2. One really good team light years ahead of the others. As we found out in Round 1, Region 1 was stronger this year top to bottom, going 5-3.

Disagree... If John Turner, Casey Perkins & Blake Watkins are playing, DB loses 20.

 

I'll take it one step further... with those 3, Smyrna finishes 2nd in region 2 and the first round is likely 4-4. So while Region 1 was stronger in 1st round, Region 2 was just as good during the season.

Not really sure how that happens... Were they not healthy when Blackman beat them?... Which the only way for them to be #2 seed would have been beat Riverdale and Oakland since we had the tie breaker over them

Perkins was injured against Independence... 3 wks before Smyrna played Blackman and 5 weeks before they played Riverdale.

Depends on how soon they put in the reserves.  First string defense, it is a shut out.
