I didn't stay for the JV portion. I saw good and bad. Offense looked pretty good for the most part but certainly has things to clean up. Appears as though we have moved Stewart from QB to WR. #11 and #13 (don't know their names) took all the first team reps at QB, and I thought #11 was clearly the better of the two. McCutcheon, Reynolds, and #5 (don't know his name, Foster maybe?) all showed out pretty good at tailback. Defense gave up several big plays including 2 long runs and a long pass for TDs, but played pretty well in between. All in all we looked like a team that has been practicing for about a week. Yes sir pretty on point that's what I saw as well. 13 is Gray Gardner and 11 is Will Parrish. 5 is Jayln Foster he is going to be a name we talk a lot about in the next 3 years. He is special!!! Why move Stewart? He is definitely a weapon. I guess the wideouts needed some help?

He lacked throwing ability on a consistent level. From what I have saw to this point it has been an excellent decision. There is a lot of guys on offense that can take it to the house this year. Should be a fun one.

He was still playing QB in the spring. I'm guessing the other QBs have stepped their game up since last season, which might have freed the coaches up to move Stewart to one of the skill positions. He is a natural athlete after all. I've also heard he still might get some snaps at QB, so I guess we'll see.

Foster definitely brings some speed to the table.

I agree, with the elaboration that I think this makes sense for the longer haul. #11 is bright and athletic and will develop fast given some experience. I think the same can be said for #13. Stewart(s) can wreak havoc in the secondary. I do have to give credit that Stewart threw longest completed pass I have ever seen in Patriot Stadium 2 years ago in a scrimmage (to his brother). I do not like the new Coach T website format.

Parrish ran a beautiful read option play to perfection and kept the ball and picked up a huge gain in the scrimmage against Milan. Check out the throw the kid makes at the end of this video hudl http://www.hudl.com/team/v2/16980/boys-varsity-football go to summer 2017. They practiced at ut Martin and it was 13 or 11 that threw a great pass down the field for a td Edited July 30, 2017 by gbrpats

(Hated that first game 2 years ago, but last year was really fun to watch). Hope to see y'all in November!
