BULLRUSH
HV has a lot of spaces to fill as does Hampton but I imagine the Jr's & underclassmen will be ready. We have the athletes but the line will need some building after losing the likes of Fletcher....Replacing McClain & Sanchez here will be a huge challenge, but I like what I see in the Potter kid! Our QB's passing game looked very good and should be comfortable and ready for next season. Interested in seeing how some of these young men mature over the spring/summer....IF all will take advantage of the new training program now in place and If the others get after it when basketball is over, we will be strong. I also see we have an interesting game schedule...Most games I like, one for sure is sad tho....Hope we were able to fill a game or two with some region-2 teams....I love the Oneida game myself I see Oneida as being possibly the only team strengthening in reg-2....RW will be back, but not this season I'm afraid Is it true that Crockett will be on the schedule? Kyle1990
Mckenzie will struggle 2017. I hate saying that. We do have youngsters that have a good amount of playing time though.
riverrat
My thoughts on TOUGH schedules: 1. You are/have been good and it is tough to find anyone other than other good teams to play. 2. You are about to be real good and the coach wants to be ready for the playoffs. 3. The coach is leaving/retiring and wants to leave a little present for the next guy to selfishly protect his legacy. Most of the time it is #1 or #2. Occasionally you see number three though. Definitely door #1...had some verbal commitments until knocking off #1 Adamsville, making the quarters, and playing Waverly to the wire. Recently we have been awful...Played as good of competition as would bother with kicking our brains in, but now that we're better, nooo...don't want any! We're losing every team stat leader and all the skill positions, but no matter...had to schedule a 4A team even, and a good one. I hope what doesn't kill you makes you strong, because we will be tested every week.
