That's #4 yal have was pretty impressive! Everytime I thought the play was over he'd pop out of the pile some how and keep going.

Yeah he played a great game he kept us in it with them runs. He small but he was a load to bring down.

It was a good one. That Waverly team played with a lot of heart. They fought back when it looked like we would run away with it and tied it up. somebody had to lose unfortunately.

Told you guys that Waverly was a solid team with a lot of drive and heart. Trez had to do things that they don't normally do in order to win, but that's to their credit...when they had to adapt, they got it done. Good luck to the Bears, now go repeat!!!

 

  To the Waverly faithful...believe me when I say that I know how you feel, but the kids gave a great account of themselves and have nothing to regret...they left everything out on the field, and had a shot very late in the game. There will always be the "if this or that would have been different" thoughts, but the pride of giving your all will be there after that fades away. Great job Tigers, I'm sure the community is proud that you fought them hard.

Yes sir trader I been on this thing all week telling folks these kids play with heart and pride! Also said that they will make a game of it. Yes you are right there was a lot of what if's left on the field but it still won't change the outcome of this game. Trez won fair and square!

You're right, fair and square...but no blowout, and the Tigers didn't flinch when they were behind. Bet that there were some wide eyes and shallow breathing in the home stands when Wavo tied the game late.

The entire community is more proud than ever! Guess everyone got to see its not just for the movies, a TEAM with a lot of heart and faith can do a lot! Can't say enough about this years O and D lines and this game they showed out even better! Well undersized but held their ground all night. Future looks bright at WCHS! Dang! I'll be honest. I didn't even know Waverly was still playing football until I just saw the highlights from last night. Let me send my congratulations from Fairview to the Tigers. Obviously a heck of a season!

Congratulations to Waverly on a great season. Thanks for representing Region 5 AA in the playoffs so well. Hats off to the Tiger coaching staff, school, fans, and most of all the senior players, who led Waverly from the middle of the pack to one of the top four AA teams in the state.

Good game by Waverly. Also good game by Trezevant too. They showed championship heart tonite. Take away the best 2A back in the state and come out and win was big. They won by doing things they don't usually do such as passing and good punting. We knew it would be tough without Big Baby but we thought we had enough to win and that's what happened. Now I guess Marion thinks they have a chance but let me tell you a wounded bear is nothing to play with.

Almost sounds like Richardson's sophomore year coming out game against Fulton when he was a backup. Looks like Trezevant has another star young running back on the rise. Congrats Bears, let's bring some gold back to 901
