And Vice versa. They will not put up 300 yards on the ground on our 'D'. It's not going to happen. So, now what? Both teams try to pass to move the ball? It plays into Whitehaven's defensive hands just as it does Oakland's defense.

 

Both of these teams have DYNAMIC defenses. Yards will be at a premium. So will first downs.

 

THIS is going to be epic!

I agree from what I have seen its going to be a defensive battle. I think if either side thinks they gonna blow the other out they sadly mistaken. Get your popcorn ready folks.

2 Mr. Football winners only amps this game up even more. Congrats to Aubrey Miller and to Jacoby Stevens. Can't wait for game day!

 

Isn't that fitting for a game of this magnitude! Congrats to both gentleman. Just think ... Kylan is runner-up to Jacoby. Makes for grand theater doesn't it? Just think ... there are three semi-finalist for the Mr. Football award playing in this game. Two for Whitehaven and one for Oakland. When you stop to think about it ... man there is going to be a LOT of talent on the field ... for both teams! A LOT!

 

I've heard that Rayshad (#19) is getting looked at from some really big time schools. 6'-4", 180 lb. Corners, with his type of speed and covers skills, will not remain an unknown commodity for long.

Man ... it's been a whole lot of action in here since I was last in here. 

 

Blaze45, it's an honor sir. You and MLREB have been trolling Whitehaven throughout the whole playoff season. We've had your attention since the end of the regular season. You and MLREB have been with us throughout the playoffs .... thanks for the laughter and banter. It's clear that none of the Oakland fans will engage in smack talk. I'm glad the two of you have been so preoccupied with Whitehaven. It is a GREAT SHOW of respect and awe that you have for our program. We appreciate it.

 

Oh ... how on earth did I leave out Bullydog. My bad man. I'm sorry for that snub. it wasn't intentional.

 

All punches aside... The haven has alot of talent and should be a good game.. I do edge it Oakland's way  (I hate saying that)  Should be a good game... Kicking game will play a part just  as it did last week. The rest will be up to who plays the best disciplined ball....(game on)  Don't tell BlackHavenSenator, he is still trying to come up with some witty comeback that is going to be fresher than his fade.... I know he can't read....

I agree that this will be a good game. Of course, you are rolling with Oakland (i know .... just gargle with some scope or something to get that bad taste out of your mouth!) They are a Rutherford County team and they are LOADED!

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
