South Pittsburg had an offer to play Waverly at a neutrally located site (one of the Murfreesboro schools) for each of the next two years. They would split the game evenly. That offer was shot down. Maybe they can play Sale Creek twice....

Why wouldn't they just play a home and home series? Each team travels one season. Seems like that would have been an easy solution.

3 1/2 hr drive would be rough. Especially for a regular season game.

A neutral site sounds good in principle, but where and under what circumstances?  I can't imagine MTSU just agreeing two set aside to Friday nights that far out.

I hadn't heard anything about it till now. I've heard they only have 8 games though.

That is the way it appears.  There was talk of a game with Goodpasture but don't know if that is where the Lipscomb game came from or not.

That is the way it appears. There was talk of a game with Goodpasture but don't know if that is where the Lipscomb game came from or not.

I did some digging. Goodpasture is also on the schedule. They are still in need of one game.
