I have heard he is bringing 3 with him.  And there are two openings that match their certifications and will have to work something out for the third.  Which is quite possible, as soon as staffing numbers for next year become final.  sometimes a school will be granted another position or lose a position.  Sometimes more than one.  I think it will work out for them and he brings 3.

Well from a reliable source, Knox West really did Kevin Lane wrong once again. The job was Lane's Monday morning , Knox County approved it and all. Later that night, the head principal called Lane back and said they changed their mind . Tuesday morning they offered the job to Brown.

What's your thoughts on this? I know for sure the community, players, and parents all wanted lane but the principal lead him on . That's wrong on so many levels

Well all I can say is what comes around goes around. I watched him lead kids on all the time. If he was such a good coach he wouldn't have missed out on the job two times. I mean how hard is it to get a teaching certificate?

Himmy you are an absolute idiot. Nothing that you said makes any sense. I am guessing you are a former player who Lane tried to build up and encourage because he thought that you needed football to better your life and keep you from being a loser in life like you turned out to be. You clearly took it personal that you never touched the field even though you were told you were doing a good job by the coaches. Lane probably kept you off the field so you wouldn't get hurt. 2nd don't ever bash the education field with your lack of knowledge. Getting a teaching certificate is no easy task. It takes countless hours of classes, studying, and preparation to pass the test to get your certification.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
