Do DB and SH finally have a shot at Maryville?

I don't have the stats,but wasn't Maryville around number 6 or 8 in wins just a couple decades ago.

From what I heard:

 

If DB would have beaten Oakland AND won state this year then they would be 1 game behind DB.

 

Also, the Defensive Line coach is leaving to focus on teaching and the Secondary coach is leaving so he can spend time with his family. LB's and DC still on staff from what I heard last.

So far, no changes. And I don't look for any. There have been a few rumors as there have been for the past five years. Here in Kingsport we look at rumors as "wishful thinking". I honestly don't think you will ever see DB have a good football team again. Sad to see what they have done to the states wining'est football program.

They've got it set up top to bottom now so there is no hope. Plus the school board really just isn't into sports. Their turning DB into a liberal arts school.

Dont see the Rebels changing too much, DB and SH will have to better next year than they were this year.

Any idea who they might hire. It looks the old guard has finally left. I hate to see those guys leave, because all DB has been hiring is former players who didn't play football in college or played at small schools. DB has a history of replacing very bad coaches with "very very" bad coaches. The main qualification is to be a "yes man".
