maybe the cleveland coach can jump in, but if they believe they are at least a number two team in the state, and I bet they are set on the premise that they are really number one in the state, they will be on the opposite side of the bracket of Bradley.   And they would already be separated and thus no need to put their guys on the mat at all.  I think they would be separated based on coming from the same region.

 

Same for Bradley.  they would have wrestled twice already this year and potentially a third time should they get to the duals championship.

 

Anyway, it will be fun to see and I look forward to seeing how it all wrestles out.

If I was a betting man, whoever wins this match will beat up on WV in the regions to get into state and call it quits after. Nothing else to prove till state. Bradley/Soddy/Cleveland hardly ever wrestles in the finals

It's going to be hard to surpass the Cleveland duals match. The unexpected (except I'd say for the Cleveland team ) happened. And it happened more than once during the match. The action was awesome. I think it will be hard for all the things that happened for Cleveland to happen for them again. I hope everyone is healthy ready to go. Bradley fans I know are dying for this rematch. And the young Raider team is looking to prove it wasn't a fluke. One thing is for sure it will be way more exciting than watching the confirmation hearings. Good luck to all.

Far as I know, Trey is the only one that's injured and a no go for the matchup. Pretty sure I heard them saying Eathan was 100% healthy and ready to go now. Hope that arena is rocking!

My understanding even if Bradley finished 2nd to Cleveland they will get a #1 seed on the other side of the bracket (?). (Since Bradley was state champs last year.)

This is incorrect. A team has to be a region champ to be seeded based on last year's state duals result.

As bad as I hate to say this. I believe the outcome will be on what TJ and Knox does. Both has got to get a pin. With Trey out, I could see Pond getting a pin at 120. Mc has got to get it together. He isn't a 2 time state champ for nothing. Something is wrong with that young man this year. He isn't the same wrestler as the past 2 years. Our lighter weights are gonna have to step up big. Upper weights I do believe Cleveland will own us there.
