she didn't play her best, she's a talented sophomore, but she hit a big shot down the stretch and made 4 big free throws to ice the game. No need to call her out, the team as a whole played below par.

You know Mrs Majors, Johnny Major's Mom, was asked a question about Johnny not winning a game once because he fumbled the ball, and she answered "Even I burn the biscuits every once in a while".

 

I don't call out kids very much, but if they make a mistake, you have to be able to acknowledge it, and move on. No doubt the Bearettes had an off night (probably some of that because of Cumberland County) and Cumberland County really played a great game.

 

The sign of really good teams is winning when they don't play well. And this Bearette team is pretty darned good.

it was a great game. Refs were bad both ways, players from both team gave it their all. Great atmosphere, I had fun. Wish Bradley could have won, but no shame in losing to a great team.

Stewarts Creek was definitely tested more during the season.

Cumberland played very well. Howard played the worst game that I have ever seen her play. Bradley will have to play much better, mainly Howard, to beat SC.
