Where is he coaching?

Former DB and Oak Hill Academy alum Shane Carnes is in his first year of head coaching at Knoxville Christian. I believe that he will be a good coach in a few years.

Vidalia High School in Georgia.

156-18

68-3 at home

4 straight final 4's

as head coach

disclaimer: I hope my research is correct

I don't see Good just up and quitting on his players at Crockett he's building something special down there[/quot

Coaches leave for better jobs all the time. It's just like any other job. If someone else offers you a better job, a step up, you take it. It's a promotion; better money, better facilities, better athletes.

Thank God for Science Hill players, huh?

He might get 1 or 2 a year but that will be it. And it won't be the better players from Science Hill. It'll be the ones who know they probably aren't going to get a lot of playing time there anyway. With Jamar Love heading up the JV squad now and working as an assistant on Varsity, there will be little to no transfers out.

WaCo, is the former Indians player the front-runner or what?

Good. I dislike when schools play with other teams players.

He's my front runner. Actually I don't see how they could do better if he's interested. But it wouldn't surprise me either if they don't even talk to him.

I mostly just like to give Stockton a hard time. Middleton is the only kid we have had that has transferred in in recent memory. Every kid on our team this year played in Boy's Club together up until now. Born & raised here. Thankfully we have always had the talent where we don't need to rely on transfers. I understand a lot of places aren't that fortunate.

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
