Region competition begins this week.

I have to say, after seeing new tailback Darius James in action last night, Fairview is going to be a tough out for the rest of Region 6. He went off with 4 touchdowns. 2 rush, 1 receiving, and 1 punt return. The boy has wheels and will run right over you!

This week the Region 6-3A games begin for everyone.

On Thursday Harpeth (2-0) plays Camden (0-2).

On Friday Sycamore (2-0) plays Cheatham County (1-1).

On Friday Fairview (1-1) plays Stewart County (0-2).

Harpeth by 1 point over Camden

Cheatham by 14

Fairview by a boat load, I say 35

Harpeth, Cheatham and Fairview all by double digits.

Camden has scored 1 touchdown all year, sycamore only 3, the 2 and 0 record is a mirage.

Stewart just playing the best this district has to offer.

No way I see Harpeth beating Camden by double digits and Sycamore has struggled on offense but this is a rivalry game. Their defense is stout! Low scoring game in my opinion.

Camden gets their first win

The Sycamore game could be 14-10 with either team winning.

Fairview by 60. One too many athletes

That might be true that Camden has only scored one touchdown but take a look at who they have played.  Their first two games were brutal.  I still think they finish second in this region.

No way Harpeth beats Camden.  If they do, you can call me a liar but I just do not believe that will happen.

Not going to call you a liar if it happens, just that you were right :D.

I am just going off of Harpeth's first two games, and keeping the trend going.  Would not be one bit shocked if Camden won.

Good point, wavo and Lewis are always stout. Clarksville academy and Montgomery Central not so much.

Wouldn't be the first or last time I'm wrong. Hope the rain from Harvey doesn't ruin Friday.

    • 20 but had 5-6 not dressed every game. It went down towards the end due to injuries and obviously only 15 got to dress for the state tournament. Then, they only lost 2 from this year and gain 8 from the middle school for next year
    • As somebody mentioned before, this is going to result in a massive lawsuit, can you imagine professional "educators" actually having the conversation about getting "the bad kids" out of the high school?  And the head coach asking directly to change grades, gets turned down, comes back again and gets it approved?  This is unbelievable.  In addition to the lawsuit, the state Department of Education is going to come down extremely hard on this.  WYSH is on the war path.  There could be dozens more lose their jobs by the time this is over.  And yeah the real shame is the kids being affected that literally had nothing to do with this and actually worked hard to earn their grades.
