It went pretty much as most anyone would have predicted.  Giles County (28-20) and Fairview (27-20) were both fortunate to collect victories over a very determined Stratford bunch the last two weeks.  It will be a great battle when they meet up next week in the second round of the playoffs.

Congratulations to Fairview on reaching the Quarterfinals of the State Playoffs.  Everyone in Region 6-3A should be pulling for Fairview this week against Pearl-Cohn (the 5-3A Champion).  It should be a great battle.

Congratulations to all of the young men who were named to the All-Region 6-3A team and to the All-State teams (TSWA and TFCA).  Also congratulations to all of the young men who signed to continue their football playing days at the next level.

That's great stuff.  Every coach across the state is a Mean Machine fan because of Chris Hughes.  

 

Gabe Smythia who is one of the other players on the Mean Machine actually played QB for Cheatham County in the mid 1990s.

Camdens looking so much better this year.Lasts esason was humbling for fans coaches and the  players a like

 it seems everyone went back to  pushing the sleds!

Agreed Beagle. Time to start talking 2018. Glad to hear that the Camden Lions will be back this season.
