Top Region Team in 2017?

Season is upon us , not much talk about this new Region 5. Will there be an unexpected team to challenge for the top spot or playoff berth?

I would agree.  I am curious what Greenbrier returns from last year.  They'll be a playoff team I would like to believe.  Montgomery Central returns their starting QB offensively and defensively they return either 7-8 starters I believe.  They'll be competitive.

Springfield should win it.  Not sure if anybody has enough to knock them out of the top spot.

Just wondering how some of the teams fall camps are going , any upcoming scrimmages etc. The season is fast approaching .If anyone has the Robertson County jamboree schedule and times please post.

Springfield is the team to beat .....TRUTH

Good to see Heritage move up out of what would have been detrimental to their program in AAA Region 5....TRUTH

Should be some good match-ups.

Greenbrier is interesting

Montgomery with returning players could be a team to watch

Another good rivalry game in Portland and White House now back in same REGION

If nothing else should be good crowds, and competitive football

White House does have some good skilled position players that are still not seniors--will be interesting to watch if they open up the playbook this year..

Greenbrier doesn't seem like they have enough firepower to stay with the talent Springfield is said to have. DCA's skill players were way too much to handle on defense and their offense was not very successful with only a handful of plays 5+ yards in the jamboree. Or course, it was only a jamboree but the speed and quickness difference was surprising. Especially since DCA isn't picked to make much noise in D2A.
