2 more days!  I'm looking forward to a packed house.  I know I plan on getting there at least an hour earlier at the latest. Milan folks will have to plan accordingly if you want a seat.

I personally think that this game will have some excitement.  It seems that most assume that Milan has this one in the bag.  Don't expect Peabody to just roll over and give it to you all.  That's all I'm going to say.

Once again I'm praying for an injury free game!     Roll Tide.

No doubt you guys will be tough. I for one know you guys are capable of winning if we don't bring our A game.

So Jackson Sun has Milan picked to win 35-17.     I wonder what happened to ole Fearless.  I know he was getting out of the paper, but the newer version didn't stick?  Or I may be misinformed.

Nonethess, I'm still pulling for a closer game.  It's the nail biters that make for those classic high school memories.  The blow outs are easily forgotten.  It's those hard fought games that are etched into your memories forever.

And for what it's worth while I'm thinking about it.  Milan blew us out last year.  At this same time Milan had just lost a student or 2 in a horrible wreck literally in the days before.  Milan was already predicted to put it to us.  We knew that, but our band still learned the Milan fight song to play in memory of the lives lost.  Our community ached for your community and your loss.  That goes beyond rivals.  That shows no matter what we have a community aspect that comes into play when we play you guys.  When you suffer a loss, we feel it too in the sense that Milan and Trenton is part of a community.  We're closer than most opponents.  It changes things.  We want to beat you.... but if we don't,  we want you to succeed.

I pray for a safe travels and for an injury free game!!    With that I will say Roll Tide!  Beat those Dawgs!

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
    • It seems we lost a ton to graduation. We shall see how it shapes up for 2024.
