Looking for some revenge! Tigers take on the yellow jackets this coming week. Will Fairview be able to keep up with Waverly's offense?

I'm picking Waverly by 14 this year. (Based on the way Wavo went toe to toe with Huntingdon, I think they are a tad better this year.)

Fairview better have there chin straps tight because waverly will bring it from start to finish. Pulling for waverly on this one. They have my respect.

Since McConnell arrived in Waverly, Fairview has been a thorn in his side.

2014- Fairview denies Waverly a district championship as they shut down the high power Waverly offense and win 21-7.

2015-Waverly comes out as gangbusters in the 1st half against Fairview.  Fairview makes some halftime adjustments and wins the game.

2016- Great shootout between the teams and Fairview comes out on top.

In all three years you could argue Waverly had the better team but it seems the Yellow Jackets had Waverly's number. It should be a great game down in Waverly Friday night.

This game should be a classic.  Both teams are well coached and physical.

McConnell and staff turn the corner this year against the Jackets; just like they did against Camden a few years back. It should be the next step forward for the Tigers, as they warm up for a deeper run in November.

Get November out of your head!!! One week at a time. Waverly has a lot to work on as far as the defense side of ball. We can and will score no doubt about it. Try to stop the run and you will get burnt deep. We have got to play better on defense that's all I can say. I am picking the tigers to pull this out at least 14 tho. Just hope for a good clean and injury free game.
