Heritage vs Mcminn Co

The Mountaineers are banged up. Their staring RB and best WR are both injured. Their best defender #31 is banged up. They did not play particularly well tonight and the officiating was interesting. Did not know a team could clearly recover a fumble, hand it to the ref, and the other team gets possession.

It's going to be a tough 2nd half of the season.  Hopefully Heritage can win a couple of these region games and sneak into the playoffs. It's impressive that they are 3-2.

And for anyone who thinks the Govs are guaranteed a win against them, McMinn County showed a heck of a lot more effort and fight than William Blount. Their defensive line was much more effective than WB's. MC has a couple of nice athletes, but the QB is one dimensional; he's not a great passer. They didn't seem to have an identity on offense.

I would have to agree with you on the William Blount chance of a win after watching tonight. Really glad to see Heritage come out with the win.

Who said WB is guaranteed a win against Mcminn? I have said over and over that we will lose that game.  We do not have a snowball's chance of winning in Athens.
