Fact is, LC will never have one of those gold balls.

Was it 5-6 years ago when they played a one horse Westview team and won on a punt return and tipped hailmary in a playoff game? Then got thrashed by CPA?

I was at both of the games you are talking about and you have part of it right. LC did win on a wild play to end the game against Westview. In my opinion, when a team makes it to the third round of the playoff (LC vs Westview 2013) that any team can win and you have to be on top of your game. As far as the CPA game they did not get thrashed. CPA did beat LC but the score was 34-28. In my book that is not a thrashing. You need to get your facts right before you go running your mouth. I have read some of your post and you never know what you are talking about. Do some research before you talk trash. Have a nice day!

I agree with you but sometimes you have to shut up people that don't know what they are talking about. I'm excited to see how this last week of the regular season is going to go and get into the playoffs. Ready for some exciting football!

This is my last post in attempt to address ignorance and a personal crusades to tarnish the name of a great Coach, better yet a great man. Throw the ball, don’t throw the ball is such a small-minded approach in judging the success of a Coach. Coach Sharp has had more of a positive effect on more lives in the last 30 years than ANYONE in our community. He is a Godly man that teaches high character and integrity daily. Friday nights are such a small percentage of what this man has meant to our school and community. I, like many others are honored that my sons have played for Coach Sharp. He has given his life to our children and has had great success in doing so. He is humble to a fault and gives his all for our children and for that I am thankful. Other than a 4 year stint before he came, Lewis Co. football historically was stuck in mediocracy at best. It is my great concern that once he is no longer OUR coach we could see more of the same. Thank you coach Sharp for all that you have done for young men of Lewis Co. Your legacy and influence will never be forgotten.

AMEN. I am so honored to call him a friend and and yes a mentor to me,my son and all the young men that go though this program.Anybody that would get on here and bash a coach, the players and a program are so classless that they don't deserve to be called a fan or a alumni of a fine program that we have here. So go root for some program that is as miserable as you. No one said you could not say your concerns but when there are personal attacks no one deserves that. You must be a great scout because i think the coaches know the talent and what they can do to be the best for the team and yes for the team not you.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
