I was watching a scoreboard show last night and one of the host mentioned that only 2 or 3 of the Offence players from Catholic were from Knox Co. Can a Catholic fan or poster verify or disclaim this statement?

I've heard that too. I want to beat them but we shouldn't have to play them

May be wrong but I believe Oak Ridge had the 5th hardest schedule this year. I know it wasn't the easiest around. We had some local teams that weren't power houses but you have to play them. I don't think Kingsport DB,  Hardin Valley, Campbell County  Knox West twice, and Fulton are the "Cupcakes" folks talk about.

I think it will be interesting to see if Catholic receivers can beat the tough man up defense OR will play with the corners. I'm also wondering g what Oak ridges line looks like especially on defense the Fluker Brown rb combo going against what I expect to be a bigger line than the Irish have seen this post season. That said I think playing Eagles landing and Brentwood will help prepare the team. Not going to predict the game cause I have no idea what the Wildcats  look like.

A roster loaded with kids that didn't live in OR. But it was rare....Hahahaha NOT! As was typical for years in all OR sports

You have no idea what you're talking about. The rumors were always out there that you refer to because VERY FEW TEAMS COULD BEAT US!  Our guys live in OR and they aren't "PAID TO PLAY"...and our best player didn't "move in" and get a scholarship. All that said, we still may beat Catholic anyway!

OR isn't that big but we are very good on D!

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
