NG does not have a transfer from Asheville. All of their kids went to the feeder elementary schools. That is south greene, they have two : one from NC and one from Germany.

jjm70 got upset at the na na na na song and the cheerleader fight...I quit letting the opinions and foolishness of 14-17 year olds hurt my feelings once i hit about 19. If i got upset everytime a 15 year old chanted redneck or hillbilly at us I would have to fight after every game i went to...lol. From my experience our students and athletes are VERY well behaved and respectful for the most part, like pujo said we dont beat Hampton much , when we do its a big deal for them and kids especially will get a little excited. Nothing was hurt but feelings !

When SG announced their line up, they actually stated, "From Asheville, North  Carolina....." Strangest thing I ever heard at a HS ballgame. College, yes...but not HS

Hope the excitement lasts a few years, beating Hampton is OVER
