Missed the Clay game by 3 and the Monterey game by 12. I’d say that’s pretty darn good!

I played baseball with Art and Roger! They had a good run that year but only made it to sub-state I'm pretty positive! Seems like East Robertson beat us at ER! Not positive but pretty sure! I also read in the Herald this morning that this is the first since mid 70's! If Panther14 was on here he could tell you for sure! It said 1977-78 season! The twins was there between 1992-1995! Don't try to make me older lol!!!

Gotcha, I barely remember those days as a was a youngster but that was the best Monterey team that I remembered. Hopefully you guys will make a run in the tournament.

2 previous times: 1923 and 1978.  Talmad, you are correct, the "Castles" met David Woodard and East Roberson, in the Sub-State.

Yes they had a good run that year also! I was in 8th grade and forgot about the Copeland boys and they had Hastings and I believe Holloway that year! Bringing back some good memories there!!! Maybe even Panther14 on that team?!?!?!?
