thegreatone36
Fast forward to 2:57.30 to get to the overtime play that SC held Gallatin out of the endzone. Is it just me, or does it not seem that he was stretched past the goal line fairly clear? If it's called a TD they win. But they called it short. What do you think? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RrwRKgpiLJM

What years? 06’-08’ The good old days. Lassiter vs. Hatfield. Both teams wouldn’t give an inch. And I guess I was including the blocked punt for safety, the pick 6, and the 2 failed 4th down attempts in the redzone last night. All those were ultimately very costly. Yeah I wish he would've ran that pick 6 back, would've helped matters. But I see a trend. When they hold on to the football, they win. Example -Hillsboro game last year. They played a clean game and Hillsboro didn't, thus we won. It would have to be that type of effort this week to stand a chance against them. Yeah not all turnovers are created equal. If you are 1st and goal from the 1 and have a turnover returned for a touchdown that is essentially a 14-point swing.

Line judge possibly missed Morris on his touchdown run too. But nothing you can do about it now.

What I did take away from watching this video: Both teams have some good players. It’s going to be a long season for both teams.

The ball definitely crosses the plane on his run. The ref on the video was out of position and trying to get around a media member during the run. Doesn’t change a thing. I still think Hillsboro is struggling too. They have no kicking game and scored on a fluke play to beat Stratford. Our region top to bottom is not near as strong as it has been. The region is down without a doubt, but if the SC game is any indication, I have Hillsboro by at least 2 tds. Hope I’m wrong.

Probably still in shock from last week. Also surprised Beech lost and Lebanon really struggled with MCGavock. Wasn't an off night by Centennial. Hendersonville was just the more physical and better team. Centennial offense looked good but they had no answers for the HHS running attack. HHS had 0 punts and were only stopped once by a fumble. I dont think Ravenwood is near as good as people were thinking. They struggled to beat a not very good siegel team. I look for Franklin and Brentwood to be the two best teams in that region

thegreatone36
To me, if Hillsboro could make a game for 4 quarters against Brentwood Academy, they are pretty good. If Gallatin doesn't come ready to play right off the first whistle blow this Friday night the same way they have the past 2 weeks, The Burros will mercy rule them by the 3rd quarter in the Waveyard. You can book it. Do I want that to happen? No...But what have they shown us that would make me believe any differently? Sitting at 0-2, with a better footbal team than Station Camp was staring them right in the face trying to make it 0-

Sitting at 0-2, with a better footbal team than Station Camp was staring them right in the face trying to make it 0-3 HB lacks discipline, too many useless penalties but if that is able to be corrected that team can do some damage. HB was a way better team last year and was beat by Gallatin.
