Milan has plenty of talent just got to put it all together. Are there going to be any major changes with the Dawgs offensively this year? Still run first but will see a considerable amount more passing. New offensive coordinator is shaking things up.
ddaddy
I believe that Dyersburg is loaded and should make a long run in the playoffs. #44 is as good as it gets on Defense and that Freshmen running back is the real deal.

Will be hard to do with haywood in the same district.

Actually his number is 4 but you are correct. He is a stud. The freshman running back will not see much time on offense because of a stable of upper class man RBs. He will probably get some playing time at LB. He has the potential to be the biggest recruit ever at Dyersburg. 6 ‘ 2 and 235 as a freshman and can fly. Talent should always win out. upperclassmen can spell him when he is tired You get a principle Job BPM ?

No. Regular teaching job. But the funny thing is I was offered one with my previous employer at the same time I was offered the position in Dyersburg. However the base pay plus “coaching” supplement I receive in Dyersburg is basically the same as the principal job. Same pay and no headache of the admin duties was too much to say no to. Trojan1976
Trojans did not look to loaded tonight at the Jamboree, or is Covington actually that good? Union City and Covington were beast. Good night for the teams sporting Gold. However, this was still preseason, i'm sure everyone will get a lot better. CHARGERFAN
Dyersburg just ran into the Covington team that was the runner-up for the 3A championship last year. We graduated some good players, but with the QB and two top running backs still on the squad, we didn't lose that much.
Trojan1976
Yes, the Chargers looked good especially in the preseason, a very disciplined and fundamentally sound group of young men. I'm good with playing good teams, because I know our Trojans learned a lot and I have a feeling last nights smack down was a very valuable wake up call.. . Trojan
Dyersburg will be fine. I know what they looked like against Lexington and Milan. I don’t know if they have ever won a jamboree game.

It has been a long time since a freshman has started on varsity at Dyersburg. Did not happen with Counce and has not with Stowe. They have five upperclassmen backs who could start for most teams around here.
