May have to venture up the rd to watch this. Definitely going to be interesting!

Well you're very fortunate it's just up the road for you all it's almost a 300 mile round-trip to go watch a scrimmage I don't know if I can make that may have to just rely on the folks that go to tell me how it went.

I agree!  He's their stud, he makes a lot of tackles and gets a lot tough yardage for them. I would say he is the leading candidate for Mr football this year.  If it wasn't for him last year I don't think they make a come back in our game during the regular season matchup. If he doesn't return I would say South Pitt stands a good chance of representing the east.

Yeah right, you need to succumb to reality, we was up by 2 or 3 touchdowns at half.  Then after half the Gilbert kid took over from the wildcat formation.   Oh I forgot, Parker was on one leg in that game too.  He's just that good I think.

I wish I could get Oneida to open up some “jobs”, so we could get some of these 6’2 230lb players up on the Reservation! :roflol:

Well I guess Oneida is out of the running for the big time recruits, because all we got is a big long fence that all the guys stand on and holler at the zebras and a real nice log cabin press box. We ain’t had a gold ring in 20+ years so I guess we can’t compete.

Absolutely not taking anything away from Breeden Gilbert....he deserves the credit, but you all just don’t know these Greenback kids! Yes it changes things but there are still more than capable backs & you guys will get introduced to hard nosed DE Cody Alexander on the other side of the ball! Don’t forget Edwards either! He’ll have some noise to make if we meet up with SP. Hanley can throw the ball around and he has multiple weapons to sling it too. GB boys step up so just get ready they’re coming for another Gold Ball!

I still think Greenback will win, they are still the most talented team in East as long as they stay healthy.  Trust me, we never underestimate the Cherokees but I do love giving them a hard time on the T and the field.  Good luck to the Cherokees!

    • Pickett is good, may have a Mr. Football like season if he’s used correctly. One of the best teams Marion has fielded in a while. I think they go 12-1 and loose to ER.  ER has better players at almost every position. If they play discipline this year, they win soundly. If they don’t though…Marion could sneak away with it.
    • I’m betting the house on the Indians. Pickett and Co will be the only team to challenge the Indians in the East. Huntingdon can in the West. I think Brooks goes 15-0 and has the first perfect season and state championship in ER history.
    • Sounds like a great opportunity has opened up for the football team.  With the head coach of the diamond rebels making it official and quitting this week, there should be some room for the gridiron guys to benefit. I assume the administration won’t continue paying six figures to two former coach that quit to continue teaching drivers Ed. Thats pretty good money that could be redirected toward the football program. Also, with the more recent policies of pushing kids to only play one sport, abolishing the baseball program altogether would help on Friday nights in the fall. There is some decent speed on that baseball team that should’ve been playing on Fridays IMO. I’m not sure if anybody would really miss that baseball program anyway with it being across town from the school. The liability of letting players actually use the facilities could also be mitigated with closing the program. That liability seems to be a really big issue for 825. Anyway, it seems like a great opportunity is available.
    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
