Has Breeden Gilbert transferred or is someone just stirring the pot ? If he is gone I like South Pitts chances he is a big part of Greenback offense and defense.

He's gone! Also hearin that they have 2 WRs QB 2DL and 1 DB that are transferrin. I've heard that they got some kids comin in that are straight up STUDS! There parents got jobs in the Matyville/Alcoa and they will be attending GB. The kids that will be replacin the ones that are leavin, GB won't have a game without runnin clock in the 2nd half. This even includes the State Championship game. GB will be your 2x State Champ come December!

No disrespect but if they are that good why not go to Maryville or Alcoa. Bigger schools with more success more exposure for the next level. Have to love the open enrollment “public “ schools.

Got that right! Gilbert was afraid he would be back up and go from star to #2 or maybe #3 guy. 

I know some buddies that work in that area over there. They heard it all startin last week. Now don't listen to O&B or GBnation those guys will try and tell you some untruthful stuff.

Gilbert will play second fiddle to no other back in the state that came to Greenback I promise you that he would start for anybody right now.

And in all honesty how much more exposure do you need been to the championship game three years in a row won the championship last year play one of the toughest schedules around our neighbors to Alcoa and Maryville so how much more exposure do we need. Also if you're referring to Greenback being an open enrollment you're wrong other than County students we don't accept anyone outside of Loudon County.
