They lost 5 scores to 3, just a scrimmage but CPA is supposed to be really good this year so I guess you can make out of it what you want......

Tied 0-0. We played everybody we had. The ones only played the first series.

Hville broke about a 50 yd run by the FB on the first play. 2 plays later Spurrier had a 25 yd TD run called back due to penalty and then 2 plays after that Hancock had a TD run called due to penalty. On 3rd down from about the 10 Jacket DB intercepted a pass and ran it back past midfield. That was one of 4 turnovers Hville had. After that as stated above both teams pulled their starters and subs played the rest of the way. Hville moved the ball well but had at least 5 penalties and the 4 turnovers.  Jackets should do well again this season and you better know where #23 is at all times.  Their QB looked good and #42 looked good at RB.

Yeah Gallatin will have a tough time with Springfield and I doubt we can cover Fat Cat all night.

It’s always hard to tell with scrimmages, but I felt Springfield looked better this year than in our scrimmage last year.
